The Elland managed Services data centre is designed to support customers who have a requirement for SunGard managed services in the North of England.
The site primarily delivers services to those businesses in the Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield area at a time where quality data centre and managed services are scarce.
SunGard provides managed services to businesses throughout the UK and beyond. The very nature of our managed services means our customers have remote access to their critical equipment and applications as well as 24x7 on site skilled intelligent hands provided by SunGard personnel. This makes the location of the data centre less important as most tasks can be carried out without ever visiting the centre.
The 37,000 sq.ft resilient data centre resides within an 89,000 sq.ft SunGard recovery centre in Elland. As with all SunGard managed services data centres the 24*7 manned on site SunGard Control Centre (SCC) provide Intelligent Hands service with all monitoring and management provided by the UK Network Operations Centre (NOC).
The site is connected via multiple communications providers plus the SunGard network meaning resilient connectivity to almost every network provider in the UK is possible.
