All of SunGard's recovery centres contain a mix of office accommodation and computer equipment rooms (CERs).

Each of our recovery suites is provided with all the high-quality modern office facilities you could expect: desks and chairs in air conditioned, secure and discrete environments; high spec PCs and global connectivity.

We can provide fully cabled meeting rooms and conference facilities and there are also kitchens and rest areas available for staff.

For equipment…
All computer rooms benefit from the latest developments in security and resilience to ensure the integrity and availability of your systems and data. SunGard offers unparalleled redundancy to help ensure you never lose access to critical systems and feature:

VIGIL Plus Environmental Monitoring, or equivalent, is deployed to ensure early detection and warning of instabilities in the computer room environment (fire, smoke, water ingress, UPS, power or aircon failure - and more)
Environmental control – climate controlled spaces with chiller units and air-conditioning
Power – UPS, generators and redundant transformers
Fire suppression – pre-action sprinkler and fire suppression systems
Cat 5 and 6 structured cabling throughout SunGard's recovery sites

In addition, all premises have 24 hour security monitoring using closed-circuit TV and state-of-the-art security systems. From closed circuit TV to industry leading security systems, we provide state-of-the-art physical and electronic security at all recovery sites.

Security
SunGard's workplace recovery facilities are equipped with comprehensive intruder alarm systems, with main entrance security provided via an electronic keylock system.

The buildings are monitored extensively by CCTV cameras, both externally and internally, including all entrance doors, common areas and computer rooms. All are recorded and monitored 24 hours per day.

All external emergency exits are alarmed.

Each floor and workplace area within our workplace recovery facilities has separate, secure access via electronic keylock or swipe card access.

Our leading-edge Network Operations Centre at London Technology Centre (LTC) is the nerve-centre for the UK’s most advanced business continuity and high-availability operation.

Both customer and SunGard owned equipment and communications are monitored 24/7/365 to ensure optimum resilience and availability.
