Site Survey
A car park is often a suitable site for the construction of a long-term workplace solution. SunGard will survey the nominated site prior to an invocation and assist with any necessary planning applications to ensure that the building conforms to local authority regulations.
Modular for Flexibility
These modular constructions provide a comfortable office environment, including toilet facilities, capable of accommodating up to 300 staff. The modular nature of these buildings means that a mix of computer room and office accommodation can be provided to meet the requirements of any business.
They are built within an agreed period of time (between four and 30 days, depending on size). SunGard installs double glazed opening windows, provides fully assembled desks and chairs and installs 1 x 13A socket and 2 ports of Cat 6 structured cabling to each desk throughout the building.
Depending on the type of disaster that has occurred, the customer may be able to retain these buildings for an extended period of time.
Power
Long-term workplace solutions are also supported by generators for up to a month after invocation to allow time for mains electricity to be installed by the customer, although the use of a mobile generator, and UPS, can be extended for a longer period by subscription, for up to 13 weeks, if necessary.
