Dan is responsible for leading SunGard Availability Services’ Eastern Operations, which includes availability centers from Philadelphia through Florida. In this role, Dan leads a staff of more than 300 information technology professionals and oversees nearly 1.5 million square feet of facility space. He is an expert in data center operations and facilities management, with 25 years of experience helping to design and implement IT infrastructure solutions for customers that meet availability requirements in a cost effective way.
Dan began his career at SunGard directly out of college and has worked in many positions from front line through executive management. Highlights of his career include starting a testing services unit that now generates over $30 million dollars/year, as well as developing a customer service process that allows for the highest customer satisfaction balanced with resource efficiency.
Dan studied Commerce and Engineering at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His academic emphasis was in information systems.
