As Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Pat is responsible for the management of SunGard Availability Services’ marketing strategy and overseeing all branding and marketing initiatives. He also oversees business and technology partnerships, product management and new service development. These integrated efforts are focused on communicating SunGard's positioning as the leading provider of Information Availability services.
With a background in both large and emerging markets, Pat's experience includes close to a decade at AT&T within their Business Services units. At AT&T, Pat held a range of positions in sales, marketing and product management, supporting a diverse set of services including Internet, data, network security and hosting. Pat's last role at AT&T was Marketing Director for data and hosting services in their Middle Market segment. He was also was a sales executive supporting AT&T enterprise accounts. Prior to joining SunGard in January 2003, Pat was co-founder and VP of Marketing of CarrierChoice, a provider of enterprise telecom procurement solutions.
Pat received his B.S. in marketing from Saint Joseph's University.
